Largest shareholders and members of the Board of Directors
The largest shareholder William Demant Invest A/S, is wholly-owned by Mr William Demant and the 'Oticon Foundation', which is also a majority shareholder in the hearing aid manufacturer William Demant Holding A/S. Mr Niels Jacobsen, the President and CEO of William Demant Holding A/S, is a Board Member of Ossur.
Ossur's second largest shareholder is Eyrir Invest ehf. Eyrir Invest is an active holder in companies that are potential industry leaders in various market segments. Mr Thordur Magnusson represents Eyrir Invest on the Ossur Board.
Ossur's third largest shareholder is Mallard Holding, which is owned by the founder of the company Mr Ossur Kristinsson and his family. Ossur Kristinsson is also a Board Member of Ossur.
