We are almost there :)
As the tradeshow draws near, the Össur pavilion gradually takes shape (see image gallery below) as spirits rise and our staff prepares to present the latest and best in Össur design and innovation.
Össur is gearing up for the world’s largest orthopaedic tradeshow, being held in Leipzig, Germany from May 10-15th.
Each week leading up to the event we will give you some insight into the “We Care” theme we are using for this event.
Over the years Össur has been heavily focused on products with great success and Össur employees all know that Össur is about much more than just products. It's actually our customers who we have to thank for our theme this year. The fact that we care about more than just making products keeps cropping up in our customer interaction and surveys. This year, for the first time ever, two of the world’s leading O&P events are coming together in one place in Leipzig, Germany.
The International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) will be holding their 13th World Congress in Leipzig, Germany, from May 10-15. And two days after it starts, the largest international trade show, ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK, will also be opening its doors in the same venue.

The trade show offers an unparalleled opportunity for those in the O&P sector to stay abreast of the latest technologies, techniques and developments, as well as networking with colleagues and specialists in the field. From orthopaedic and rehabilitative technicians, to orthopaedic shoe experts, specialist suppliers, therapists and physicians, the event is expected to attract around 19,000 visitors from 85 countries.
Sharing New Ideas and Advanced Technologies
Össur will, of course, be at Leipzig. Our staff will be eager to share the newest ideas and advanced technologies, with discussions focusing on people, partners and solutions. As usual, Össur is presenting a great series of informative lectures and workshops over the course of the event.

Össur has participated in the Leipzig ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK event for a long time. As the largest industry event in Europe it offers an unparallel opportunity to meet with customers and competitors alike.

In diesem Jahr finden erstmals die Weltleitmesse der Orthopädietechnik und der ISPO Kongress zeitgleich an einem Ort statt. Die ISPO veranstaltet ihren Kongress vom 10. Mai bis zum 15. Mai 2010 und die ORTHOPÄDIE + REHATECHNIK beginnt nur 2 Tage später am 12. Mai und endet ebenfalls am Abend des 15. Mai.

Die Messe bietet dem Bereich der Orthopädietechnik die einzigartige Möglichkeit, sich auf den neuesten Stand der Technik zu bringen und die aktuellsten Entwicklungen zu verfolgen. Natürlich steht auch das Netzwerken mit Experten und Kollegen im Vordergrund. So werden 19.000 Besucher aus 85 Ländern erwartet, die aus den Bereichen Orthopädietechnik, Schuhtechnik, Rehatechnik, Therapie und Physiotherapie stammen.

Össur wird selbstverständlich in Leipzig mit einem Stand vertreten sein. Unsere Leute freuen sich darauf, mit den Besuchern die neuesten Ideen und fortschrittlichsten Technologien zu teilen, wobei sich die Diskussionen um Menschen, Produkte und Lösungen drehen werden. Natürlich werden wir auch wieder umfangreiche Shows und Workshops anbieten.
